Streets after rain. Mountain trails before dawn. Skies that take hours to turn dark enough. Long walks where nothing happens — and that is fine. Photography, mostly, is waiting. The waiting turns out to be the best part. Now and then, the light lines up with something: a stranger's shadow, a ridge catching the first sun, a few stars above a quiet hut. A click, and the moment stays.
